Searching for a track loader in Bryant, Arkansas? Found yourself trying to decide whether the Kubota SVL65-2 or the John Deere 317G is the better track loader? Here at River Valley Tractor, we’re big believers in the Kubota SVL65-2, and we’ve seen firsthand how it takes our customer’s capabilities to the next level. Let’s take a look at some of the features that set it apart from its competition!

Boasting both radial and vertical lift operations, the Kubota SVL65-2 ensures you’re well-prepared for the job at hand. The SVL65-2’s commitment to your comfort is evident through the industry-leading, 36-inch side screen to side screen cab width, available as an open or closed cab, and adjustable high back seat. Once you climb in the cockpit, the controls are laid out ergonomically to keep you working with precision and ease. How does the SVL65-2 compare to the John Deere 317G? The 317G sports a vertical lift boom and electro hydraulic joysticks for powerful performance, but doesn’t quite capture the same range that its orange competitor does. Factor in the SVL65-2’s 9.1-inches of ground clearance and hardy integrated mainframe and undercarriage, and it’s clear to see the frontrunner in this competition.

The last thing you want when you’re behind the controls of a track loader is for your performance to fizzle out and let you down. A Kubota-built engine, making for 68.3 horsepower, gives the SVL65-2 the punch it needs to break through any obstacle on the job site and ranks slightly higher than the 317G’s 65 horsepower, courtesy of a Yanmar-built engine. While the 2,100 lb ROC sits just below the 317G’s 2,215 lb rating, the SVL65-2’s 4,614 lb bucket breakout force topples the John Deere’s 4,250 lb force. With faster hydraulics, a higher max speed, an advanced multifunction valve, electronic torque management and deeper fuel tank, the Kubota SVL65-2 doesn’t just give you the performance you’re looking for; it exceeds your every expectation.
