Looking to buy a compact tractor in Arkansas? Struggling to come up with a decision between a Kubota L2501 and a Bad Boy 4025 Compact Tractor? At River Valley Tractor, we proudly stock Kubota Tractors because of their outstanding capability and renowned reliability. While the Bad Boy 4025 may be manufactured in Arkansas, the Kubota L2501 goes above and beyond to provide you with the ultimate compact tractor experience. Let’s take a look at some key comparisons between the two before you make up your mind?

There’s a reason the Kubota L01 Series has been the #1 Selling Compact Tractor in the USA for over ten years. We’ve seen customers with five up to fifty acres come in looking for a Kubota L01 Series and with a wide range of implements and attachments, they’ve found exactly what they need to meet their demands! The Kubota L2501 and its steel hood, fenders, frame and heavy-duty front axle are designed to handle wear and tear over the years. Kubota is well-known for reliability and durability in their products. A deluxe suspension seat, ergonomically placed controls and wide operator’s station continue the perks, keeping you comfortable all day. The L2501 even offers an available cab for year-round comfort in your tractor.  But how does the Kubota L2501 compare to the Bad Boy 4025?

The Bad Boy 4025 brings a steel hood, fenders and frame of its own. You’ll also find a 1.2-inch difference in the 4025’s ground clearance vs the Kubota L2501’s. However, the Bad Boy 4025 is 10-inches longer than the L2501, preventing you from maneuvering into tighter spaces and allowing your compact tractor to give you true coverage of your property. For industry-leading durability and comfort, it’s the Kubota L2501 that you know you can put your trust in.

Ready to talk power in the Kubota L2501 and Bad Boy 4025? The Kubota L2501 provides you with a 24.8 horsepower rating and your choice between a gear-drive transmission or a three-range hydrostatic transmission to help you put power where you need it, exactly when you want it. A 20.5 PTO horsepower rating allows you to utilize a fantastic range of Kubota and LandPride-built attachments. You’ll discover an entirely new list of chores that you have access to and with a 10-gallon fuel tank, you’ll work from start until finish in confidence. But does the Bad Boy 4025 have more horsepower than the Kubota L2501? Not quite. The Bad Boy 4025 sports a 24 horsepower rating, falling just shy of the Kubota L2501’s mark. You’ll also only have access to a two-range hydrostatic transmission in the Bad Boy 4025, reducing the control you’ll have over your tractor, but the PTO horsepower in the 4025 is .5 gpm higher than the L2501. A 7.1-gallon fuel tank is a noticeable decrease compared to the L2501’s 10-gallon tank, something that doesn’t seem like it would make a difference, but you’ll notice it immediately. Factor in the limited implement offering by Bad Boy and fewer dealerships available to give you the service and care that you and your tractor deserve and we think it’s clear to see which compact tractor is the better choice. There’s only room for one orange tractor in this town.
